For a while, they could be identified seperately as their haircut was different. But with his current hair cut (V cut her hair some weeks back), they are back to almost being identical twins again.
They are both of the same size, same height, same tan colour, same black hair, same shape of the head, and wear almost the same type of clothes - the only distinctive difference now is he has much bigger eyes than her. And to complicate it further, they always play together. In the morning when she arrives in school, she will look for him. When she's not around, he will ask for her. Yes, they are play buddies in school too.
Yesterday when we arrived at her school, V had already stopped crying. However, A was crying because he wanted his daddy. So I try to distract the sullen V by asking her to go "sayang" A, which she did, by giving him her sweetest smile and patting him. Then when she happily settled down to eat her breakfast with him, suddenly she burst into tears when we waved bye to her. Needless to say, we scooted out immediately.
Last night, when we were chatting, I asked her why did A cry? Her response was initially quite baffling because she didn't speak in complete sentences.
V: Because, because, A cannot find his *mumble mumble*
Me: what? A cannot find his girlfriend?
V: Ya, no girlfriend.
Me: A cry because he cannot find his girlfriend?
V: Ya, because must go home.
Me: who must go home?
V: me.
Me: A cry because you must go home????
V: Ya.
Well, I was trying to ask her why did A cry in the morning. Now it seems that he cried in the afternoon too. I am not sure if she made this up, I will have to check with the school on monday.
Me: why did A cry in the morning?
V: Because want mummy.
OK, so she got that part correct, but I need to check if she is fibbing about A carrying when she left in the afternoon ...
*hmmmmm*
